The Netherlands’ most important independent design award was presented for the thirty-first time at Dutch Design Week by Designlink. Designlink emphasizes the exceptional importance of integral product development and promotes the application of industrial design with the Good Industrial Design Accreditation (GIO).

A Good Industrial Design Recognition is not a prize but a quality stamp for good craftsmanship. The design of CressToday is a feast for the eyes. With the sleek and open design it is a real eye-catcher in the kitchen. This has not been unnoticed by Dutch design connoisseurs and that is why the product was exhibited at the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven where it received the Good Industrial Design Recognition and also managed to become third in the Public Awards.

An independent jury also has the opportunity to hand out a Special Award for Excellence to each of the five assessment criteria to a product that is particularly distinctive on that criterion and CressToday is one of the promising winners. On the 12th of December 2017 we will know who the winners are during the Dinner Show at the Cube Design Museum in Kerkrade.
