March 17th 2016 – After a long time of development and production, Grown officially started! Bart van Berkel, winner of the Dutch ‘Masterchef’ television program of 2014, came to Weesp for the opening of Grown. In the Tea Garden, the master chef prepared one of the dishes from his new cookbook ‘Discover the secret of the chef’ with the key ingredients of CressToday’s cress.
In addition to Bart van Berkel, Rob Baan from Koppert Cress and other guests from the catering industry came to the Tea Garden where CressToday, Grown’s smart grow box, was launched. All orders from the crowdfund campaign and via the webshop were handed over after the drinks. The first cresses are already harvested and we can start growing!
